Andrew and Jess’ wedding was designed as a balance between our more traditional, Christian upbringings and to combine it with an element of fun that suited their personalities. Most of the elements are simple and classic, with a black and white theme… but Jess added splashes of pink (her favourite colour), quirky “cootie catcher” order of services, Scrabble letter name places at the reception (to reflect Andrew’s obsession with board games), etc… Jess walked down the aisle to quite an upbeat song – Seasons of Love from the musical Rent. 90cm diameter round white balloons lined the centre row of pews at the church.
