Normy B is Divine Studos main videographer for weddings and was joined by the Divine Studios team members of Clare, Ben and Alex to capture Liana and Cesars customs house wedding was held at St Stephens’ Cathedral & Customs House.
It was a culturally rich wedding including Malaysian, Peruvian influences. I really enjoyed the ceremony, watching the parents enjoying the ceremony so much was special.
The decorations at the Customs House were beautiful and Cesar showed some moves in a couple of video clips we projected from earlier days. It was constructed between 1848 and 1850, and is the oldest surviving church building in Queensland.
With its magnificent architecture and stunning views of the river, Customs House is a classically elegant and romantic setting for a wedding reception.
The Customs House also has some of the most perfect wedding photography locations within a few hundred meters of it. From the Old Government House by the Botanical Gardens to the Customs House is a stretch of the best photography spots in Brisbane.
These include the Old Government house for classic grand architecture, the UQ next to it for lots of modern architecture and clean lines, then the gardens which offer lots of different trees and flowers and the river.
Across the road there are George St and Edward St which have some very popular old buildings and doors as backdrops. Next come the eagle st boardwalk which offers a variety of fountains, steps, and some modern architectural buildings leading all the way down to the Customs House for the reception.
Divine Studos currently offer special incentives to couples booking both photography and cinematography so please send us a message about your wedding to find out what our special incentives are.
