Pete , Jack Sarah and I captured the Sofitel Brisbane wedding for the wedding of Emie and Wayne. Our wedding cinematographer started quite early at 9am at the Novotel in Brisbane. The ceremony was held at St Stephens cathedral. Emie and Wayne and the whole bridal party and our team munched on some cheeseburgers at Bowen Terrace next the to Story Bridge after the ceremony.
We then made our way to the infamous red door at Ethel Street right next to the London Bar. It was nice to see so much emotion on the day… and the dancing was beautiful….. congrats from our creative team… The Cathedral Parish has three venues available for weddings – the Cathedral of St Stephen, the Chapel of St Stephen and St Patrick’s Church, Fortitude Valley. Requirements for booking a wedding is that one partner must be a baptised Catholic.

Ballroom Le Grand at the Sofitel Brisbane
The Grand Ballroom can accommodate up to 1100 people which will accommodate even most of the larger and ethnic weddings that we so love to capture! This venue even infuses a feel of French romance and sports one of Brisbane’s largest ballrooms.
This Brisbane ballroom is divisible into 3 separate spaces and thus can be perfect for the most complex of functions.
